In times of covid we have to improvise to get that runners high and a sense of belonging. So an idea was born to organise our own runnig event. What started of as a little idea to just run together and time turned into a pretty cool saturday morning.. and noon.

In the end we ended up with about 30 contenders who had a choice of running a 10K or a half marathon. We got really lucky with the weather on this saturday morning, as the days leading up to the event where some of the wettest we've had since early spring.

Runners had a choice of 10k and the half marathon. We arranged it in such a way that both groups would finish together. With the 21.1k starting at 10:00 and the 10k group beginning their run at 11:00. Finishing at Rockstar Institute with a socially distanced lunch for the all competitors.

The fasted 10k time were Rick Bruins with 00:44:50 and Roos Dikker with 00:46:33.

Adriaan Quist ran his 21.1k in a staggering 01:34:40, closely followed by Lisa Dubach at 01:47 flat.

Notable mention goes out to Robert Stols who was challenged by his Instagram followers to run the 21.1k and die his hair in Sergio Augero colours. His time was 01:50:31. The hair is still black though, unfortunately.
